The 7-Day Launch · Chapter 6

From blank page to live webinar in one week.

The first two days are decisions. The middle three are production. The last two are the parts most advisors skip and then pay for. AI drafts the slides, the pages, and the emails. You make the calls only a licensed advisor should make.

You go live on Day 7

Chapter 6 ends with one instruction: put a live date seven days out on your calendar.

DAY 1 Decisions

Audience, problem, promise, named diagnostic, three insights. All of it goes into your AI knowledge base.

DAY 2 The outline

Your three insights written long-form in your own words, before a single slide exists.

DAY 3 The deck

Thirteen blocks, one idea per slide. AI drafts, your judgment approves every one.

DAY 4 Offer + page

The named diagnostic written in full, and a registration page that sells the hour.

DAY 5 Follow-up

Reminders before. Messages after, for attendees, no-shows, and bookings.

DAY 6 Review + rehearse

Everything to compliance. Then one timed run, out loud, door shut.

● DAY 7 Go live

Deliver the hour. Then run the same webinar every week.

Days 1–2 · DecisionsDays 3–5 · ProductionDays 6–7 · The parts advisors skip

What you'll have by the end of Day 7

  • An AI knowledge base that makes everything you create sound like you
  • A 60-minute webinar deck built to the run of show
  • A named diagnostic offer that replaces the free consultation
  • A registration page that sells the hour
  • Reminder and follow-up messages for every kind of registrant
  • Compliance-reviewed assets and your first live session delivered

Chapter 1 · The Map Is the Cage

You don't have a marketing problem. You have a location problem.

Put a dot on a map where your office is. Draw a circle at the distance you'll drive for a first appointment. For most advisors, that's an hour.

That circle is your business. Every client you'll ever have lives inside it. Every referral comes from someone inside it. It looks like a territory. It works like a ceiling.

Time

Every hour behind the wheel produces nothing. It can't be delegated, sped up, or compounded.

Money

The circle caps how many households you can sit in front of each week, and that count is the whole business.

Peace

When the pool is finite and you've called most of it, every Monday starts at zero. If your calendar is unpredictable, your life will be too.

YOUR OFFICE 60-MIN DRIVE ● HOUSEHOLDS YOU WILL NEVER MEET
Referrals

Asking people inside the circle to introduce you to other people inside the circle.

Networking breakfasts

A room of people inside the circle, each hoping the others turn into clients.

Steakhouse seminars

Renting a room inside the circle and buying dinner for whoever inside it will come.

Bought leads

Names from inside your circle, sold to you and to four other advisors inside it.

Every fix the industry handed you works the circle harder. The webinar removes the place.

Chapter 5 · The One Hour Webinar

Sixty minutes, built to the minute.

Most advisor webinars teach well and book nothing. The book gives you the full run of show: when value has to land, when the room has to do something, and the exact minute the offer arrives.

Value by minute ten

Something a household could act on. Not a tease.

One next step, repeated

Never three. Given a choice, people take the easiest one, which is worth least to both of you.

Offer before minute 48

An offer at minute 58 is made only to the people who stayed.

Chapter 4 · The Appointment Is the Offer

Access is not an offer. A result is.

This is the hinge of the book. Most webinars end by offering a free consultation, an hour with a stranger who will probably try to sell something. You'll end yours with a named diagnostic: a defined piece of work the household keeps whether or not they ever hire you.

What most advisors offer

"Schedule a free consultation"

  • A category, with no name
  • No process the household can see in advance
  • Nothing to hold afterward
  • "Free," which tells them what you think it's worth
What the book teaches you to build

A named diagnostic

  • A name · The Retirement Decision Map. The Beneficiary Alignment Review.
  • A process · They know what happens before, during, and after.
  • An artifact · A map or scorecard they walk out holding.
  • An edge · It says who it's for, and who it isn't.

"Teach the what. Personalize the what-now."

Chapter 9 · Freedom Is Math

400/40. Run your own numbers.

One webinar a week. The same webinar. Forty campaign weeks a year. Four hundred appointments as the benchmark.

That's about twenty-five households in a room, twice a week. It's a smaller room than most advisors picture. And it's roughly eighty hours of delivery a year: two working weeks to prospect for a year.

The book won't tell you what you'll earn. It hands you the model and the levers, and makes you put your own numbers in. Try it here.

392Appointments / year
80Hours on camera / year

About 9.8 appointments per campaign week. The industry average is roughly one new household a week.

A model, never a forecast. The 7% planning rate comes from Chapter 7. Your market, message, and effort decide your actual results.

What's inside

Not a book you read. A book you build a business out of.

Eleven chapters in four parts, with one exercise at the end of each. By the last page your folder holds a working webinar, an offer, a follow-up sequence, and a live date on your calendar.

Who it's for

Two doors into this book.

Door one

The Top Advisor

Your calendar is full and the practice pays. You don't need rescuing. You want to scale what you know, get serious about AI and the online world, and build a company bigger than your own two hands and your own zip code.

Door two

The Forgotten Advisor

You're doing well enough that leaving makes no sense, and not well enough to get anyone's attention. Not your firm, your broker-dealer, or your RIA. You have the will. You need a method to reach more people than you can drive to.

Not for

Advisors looking for a promise of results, a script to pressure people, or fake deadlines. The book is plain about this: no guarantees, no invented scarcity, and every asset goes to your compliance reviewer before it goes to the public.

Stories from the book

Advisors who stopped selling inside a shape.

Mr. X · Small-town Texas

Under four hours a month on camera.

Two events a month, each offered on two nights. Each session runs under an hour. In a town you couldn't find on a map, he generates 80 to 150 new appointments a month.

One advisor's individual outcome in one market. Not typical, and not a promise.

Carl · Medical market specialist

Already a master. Still plateaued.

Carl's expertise was real and trapped in his own two hands. He offered access to Carl. When he started offering a named result, with a book and a webinar behind it, the plateau ended.

Names and details changed. Individual results vary.

Timothy · Former football coach

Not forgotten anymore.

Six figures, a family to feed, and invisible to his firm. Today he works from anywhere, running webinars and appointment funnels into the construction market with AI carrying the follow-up.

It took hard work, training, and time.

About the author

He stopped driving to the room. Then he showed twenty thousand advisors how.

For twenty-five years Terrance McMahon built a financial practice across seven states the way everyone was taught: one handshake, one kitchen table, one client at a time. He served as chief executive of a firm with more than a billion dollars under management and holds a Series 7.

In 2016, the grind nearly killed him. Stage four liver failure, and a transplant he wasn't expected to get. He used the time he was handed back to finish what he'd started: a practice and a training company run entirely from anywhere.

He has recruited more than 1,000 advisors, personally trained more than 20,000, and trained more than 100,000 people to use AI in their businesses. He delivered what he believes was the first live public training on ChatGPT, is a TEDx speaker, and is a #1 Amazon category best-selling author. He runs it all from Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico, seventy-five feet from the ocean.

Questions

Before you order.

Why is the book free?

Because the fastest way to show an advisor what this system can do is to put the whole method in their hands. The book works without us. Some readers will want help building it, and the book ends with one invitation for them. There's no obligation to take it.

Do I need to be technical, or good with AI?

No. Chapter 6 walks you through building an AI knowledge base first, then using it day by day. AI drafts the slides and emails. You make the decisions only a licensed advisor should make.

Will this work with my compliance department?

Chapter 10, Built to Survive Compliance, is written for that question. The method avoids guarantees and invented scarcity, and every asset you build is designed to go to your reviewer before it goes public. Your firm decides what you may say.

Can I really launch a webinar in seven days?

That's what the plan is built for: two days of decisions, three of production, and two for review, rehearsal, and going live. If you've done the exercises in Chapters 1 through 5, Day 1 takes an afternoon. Compliance review times vary by firm, so start that conversation early. How fast you move is up to you.

Does the cover say 60 minutes or seven days?

Both, and they mean different things. The webinar itself runs one hour. Building and launching it takes seven days.

How is this different from The One to Many Advisor?

The One to Many Advisor makes the case for why. The One Hour Webinar is the build manual. You can read them in either order.

When will my book arrive?

Most US orders ship within 2 business days and arrive in 5 to 8 business days. You'll get tracking by email.

One hour. Seven days. From anywhere.

One hour a week. From anywhere. Seven days to launch.

The circle on the map doesn't get to set the ceiling on your life.
